For Jennifer Parris, taking pictures is all in the family. Her grandparents were well-known photographers in Europe, who brought their signature portraiture style to their Manhattan photography studio over 50 years ago. Jennifer is continuing in their famous footsteps by creating Gabbeli Photography, a full service portraiture studio.

Prior to starting her own photography studio, Jennifer was a magazine journalist, writing and editing for magazines such as Seventeen, Latina, New Woman, Parenting, Latingirl and Urban Latino. She has interviewed numerous celebrities, from Marc Anthony to Britney Spears. She has traveled all over the country interviewing athletes and actors, authors and politicians, even every day people, all of whom had an amazing story to tell. In addition to writing several cover stories for these publications, some of Jennifer’s photographs of her subjects were published with her articles, thus launching her photojournalism career.

Today, Jennifer continues to write and photograph for various publications. She also shoots extensively with maternity, newborn and fashion clients. When she's not working, Jennifer spends her time smooching her two adorable children, Gabriel and Elizabeth.
